Planet fitness is a ****, they just make money from people by lying to them.

I enquired about a membership and I was told the amount and I complained that the advertised amount and actual was different. Then I was offered something less expensive and I said, I will think about it and told them I can't afford it at the moment.

A week later, Lebo phones me and offered a membership for R 99 for 6 months thereafter it will be R 699.00, which I refused since I couldn't afford but he insisted and said that, I can give the gym a try and then after 2 months I can cancel and serve a notice for 4 months that way I will never have to pay R 699.00. I said I will think about it but he pestered me until I agreed.

Then after 2 months when I requested a cancelation, I was told that if I cancel then the R 99 falls away I will have to pay R 699.00 for 4 months. I told them I can't afford it and they said if it okay they will just blacklist me, if I can't afford. I had made an agreement for a debit order on the 27th but as soon as my salary appears they take R 699.00. Now the 4 months is finished they are taking R 1200 from my account.

They just **** people of their money, when I complained they referred me to a manager who said she will sort everything out and get back to me am still waiting, I called and they said they will give me a form to change my account. I am really disappointed with their lies and money making schemes.

DON'T EVER TAKE THAT GYM MEMBERSHIP, I HAVE BEEN WITH VIRGIN ACTIVE FOR YEARS AND NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH THINGS........THESE PEOPLE ARE A **** EVEN THE PEOPLE AT HEAD OFFICE ARE AWARE.
