Planet Fitness has no customer service.

Planet Fitness has the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a company. I wanted to cancel my membership for a while because I am a student and I simply can't afford to go to the gym at the moment.

Planet Fitness only allows you to cancel your membership through their customer service telephone number.

So I tried to contact them in September so that I can cancel my membership from October onwards. Two weeks have passed since I first tried to contact their Call Centre: ***. The phone just rings and no one answers. I tried 3 or 4 times that day, no answer. So I email them at ********** and ask them to help me out. I only receive the automated response that confirms they received my email. No further help from them. I have sent 4 emails and no one replies. I have called multiple times since and I have sent voice messages describing my problem to them and asking them to please get in contact with me. No reply...

I'm guessing it's all a way of getting me to pay for an extra month. R350 for no service.

I am a fitness enthusiast and was planning to come back to Planet Fitness, but I am really disappointed in the lack of customer service. My money will go to Christo Wiese's gym in the future unless you get your act together.
