Planet Fitness Gym

I signed up as member at the planet fitness gym in rosebank on the 5th of September 2019. on the 16th of September I received an email from the club advising that the rosebank branch is closing down and all the members are being transferred to the Wanderers club. I called the club requesting to cancel my membership , spoke a lady by the name of Amanda who referred me to their call center to assist with my request. the call center advised that I have to pay a cancellation fee of R2291.37, Itumeleng(the sales consultant who signed me up as a member of the gym did not advise me of the changes and that the branch is closing down.

I feel it's unfair business practice as they ****** me of a sale, if he advised me of the changes I wouldn't have signed up as i would not be able to make it to the other branch were all members were transferred to. Please assist me in having this matter resolved as I am not in a position to pay the required cancellation fee and will not be able to get to the branch we are being transferred to as I don't have transport to get there.
