Planet Fitness *****

<p>I joined Planet Fitness Claremont in May last year with my boyfriend. He took the regional student contract for a year and I took the normal contract. The only reason I took that contract was because the sales rep, lennox told us that he could not receive a black tag with the regional student contract. My boyfriends friend later joined with the same contract and was able to get a black tag it was then that we found out that we had been **** to and led into the contract (my contract) under false pretenses.Trying to get a hold of planet fitness and sort out this issue has been disasterous. For two months now I have to struggle. Calling after them, not receiving calls back. I want to cancel my contract without having to pay a cancellation fee because I was led into it under false pretenses. I wouldnt even have gotten the contract if I had know that my boyfriend could get a black tag because the only time I go to the gym is with him. Yet they still are arguing that I need to pay a cancellation fee even though under South African contract law they state that if you are led into a contract under false pretenses the contract is void. The service, the excuses and the lies have been absolutely terrible. Pleaseexcuse the one star if i had a choice i wouldnt give them a star at all.</p>
