Planet Fitness Fourways (The Buzz) – No water, no showers, but they still take full debit orders!

I am writing this to express my absolute frustration with the Planet Fitness branch at The Buzz Shopping Centre in Fourways.

My wife trains there early on weekday mornings for high-intensity sessions before heading straight to work. A massive reason she chose this club is the convenience of being able to shower and get ready for her workday on-site.

Lately, this branch has consistently had NO RUNNING WATER with no notice at all. It is a regular occurrence now where no signs are put up or notices sent out in advance. She is then forced to scramble to find alternative arrangements just to be presentable for her job. It’s completely disrupting her daily routine.

We all know municipal water issues happen in Joburg, but a premium gym facility charging full membership fees needs to have proper contingency plans in place (like backup water tanks). Expecting members to train heavily and then leave without being able to use basic hygiene facilities is unacceptable and unhygienic.

If we don't pay our fees, our access is blocked. Yet, Planet Fitness fails to provide the basic services we pay for, with zero communication or urgency to fix it.

Please sort out your backup water supply at the Fourways branch. It’s ridiculous that we have to resort to HelloPeter just to get basic running water looked into.
