Planet Fitness FOURWAY****cessive Buddy Entry Requirements

As a member of Planet Fitness Fourways, I am beyond frustrated with their latest buddy admittance policies.

Under this system, the main member must generate a QR code via the Planet Fitness app each day for their buddy to gain entry. I understand the purpose of this process and, personally, I have no issue with generating the QR code.

However, it is unreasonable that the buddy is still required to present proof of identification every single time, even when entering alongside the main member and with a valid QR code. This extra step is unnecessary and inconvenient for regular members who have already been verified.

Requiring both a daily QR code and constant ID checks feels excessive. Once a buddy’s identity has been verified and they are accompanied by the main member with a valid QR code, that should be sufficient for entry.

What will be the next requirement? The buddy's birth certificate? Proof of residence?

I urge Planet Fitness to review this process and find a balance between security and member convenience.
