Planet Fitness debit order frenzy at my expense.

2019 July/August I took a 24 months contract with Planet Fitness. 2020 covid happened and they decided to freeze debit orders I think for about 3/4months. Mid year they started deducting again which was fine. 2021 I receive an email from Saya Recoveries that my account has been handed over by Planet Fitness. Initially I ignored the email because planet fitness was debiting monthly so I didn't understand than handover. After a few emails from Saya Recoveries I called them and made payment arrangements. All the while planet fitness is still debiting. So now, I'm paying Saya Recoveries and planet fitness simultaneously. I call Saya recoveries trying to understand why I am paying them and planet fitness at the same time, while my contract with them should be over August/September 2021. Then I'm told I'm paying for the duration they had frozen the account due to covid and where not deducting. I took that even though it was not in our agreement nor were we notified that our contract will extend due to covid issues.

7 November 2021 Saya Recoveries takes their last debit order +- R570. 28th November planet fitness debits my account twice R349 + R472.23.

On 2nd December, I get an email from Saya Recoveries that I owe Planet Fitness another R443. 07, I rep**** back on the same day asking they send me proof of my payments, what is currently outstanding and informed them that Planet Fitness debited me twice just now in November. I then get a call from Mirriam Matladi on 29 December gives me ref number:*** telling me that indeed I no longer owe Planet Fitness any money and that I should write a letter using the above reference number to terminate my contract with Planet Fitness of which I did and emailed her same day.

Today, 28th January 2022 Planet Fitness debits my account yet again, which I reversed. When I check my statement I see that they further debited on the 28th December 2021.

I am tired of the harassment I'm being subjected to by Planet Fitness. I want nothing to do with them and want my December debit order refunded as they know I no longer owe them and my contract with them is terminated. Anyone wishing to join this gym. I'd suggest you rethink. They are ******!
