Planet fitness contract termination

Cancelled my contract on 23/02/2023, I was given 2 options, a 2 month notice or an immediate cancellation if I pay R1698,00, I paid on 24/02/2023, I then had to make n number of calls on 27/02/2023 for assistance with the cancellation confirmation letter which I eventually received. Today 01/03/2023 I found out that my contract was not cancelled and vitality wasn't informed. I I had to call again just to find out that they marked my cancellation with the 2 months notice even though I paid for immediate cancellation and received a confirmation letter stating my contact had been successfully cancelled with immediate effect.
