PLANET FITNESS CHARGING ME FOR A CANCELLED MEMBERSHIP FOR 2 FULL YEARS

Good day

Planet Fitness handed me over to Landau Attorney's for a 12month fixed contract in 2016 to which was still active well after the 12month fixed period. As it stands I am in arrears of a total of R6456.12 to which was charged to me from February 2017 which should have been the end of the 12 month fixed contract. I have paid a total of R6200 within the period May 2017 to January 2019 towards this said debt.

I was advised by Landau Attorney's to cancel my member via email which I sent March 2017. I resent the cancellation email as I recieved no response from Landau Attorney's despite their advise to cancell via email but they continued charging me. Yesterday I was told that their records show that my membership was only cancelled on the 4th of January 2018.

Therefore I request that the outstanding balance of R2818.52 be cancelled as it is debt that is unjustified. Furthermore, I request that the R6200 that I have paid towards this unjust debt be paid back to me.
