Planet Fitness changes pricing after giving quote

I wanted to change Planet Fitness branches as I have recently moved, and was pleasantly surprised when I was quoted R399 per month incl. Black Tag for the new branch. After struggling for more than a week to change branches, and going to the new branch only to be told that my account had not been transferred, I get a call confirming my new fee of R429 a month, PLUS an additional R99 for Black tag. I was told that there was a mistake and this is the correct price, and planet fitness refuses to admit that I should pay the fee they quoted me. After multiple phone calls, Patricia told me this morning that the mistake was corrected by them calling me a full week after the quote. She then proceed to speak in a very condescending tone and got extremely impatient, at which point I realised that it was better to just hang up as she was very unhelpful. I am shocked that I can be quoted for a service and then the company forces me to pay more, as I have to pay ?R1400 -00 to cancel my contract with them.
