Planet Fitness cancellation problems for 0ver 9 months

I have been trying to cancel my account as i had a car accident and have a spinal injury .I sent all documents they asked of me. They told me the manager would call me to settle everything. Now they call me asking for me to pay a ridiculous amount. I have not been to the gym for almost a year now.. it is frustrating to keep going through this. I am disappointed and preety much upset with the service . I need this settled, i am in too much pain to keep having to deal with this on a daily basis.
