Planet Fitness Brackenfell - WORST decision to join.

Planet Fitness Brackenfell (Brackengate) completely ignores the current covid regulations gazetted by the South African Government. For months the staff refuse to enforce the rule that members upstairs when gyming moderately in the weights section wear their masks. Worse still, often staff members upstairs are standing around, chatting with other members and all this whilst even the staff do not wear their masks. Today, 17 June, they were not abiding by the max 50 person indoor rule. The front desk staff said they were not instructed to adhere to the rule and instead just occasionally look around to see if the gym seems full. They said they were less concerned about adhering to the rule and more concerned about the fact that if they did, the members might have to queue outside in the cold. A fish rots from the head and perhaps only if a true leader were to replace the branch's current manager who seemingly twiddles his thumbs all day, would the rest of the staff and members start following the law instead of being a law unto themselves.
