Planet Fitness (AUTO RENEWAL) UNAUTHORISED DEBIT ORDERS (Common Practice)

PLANET FITNESS PLATTEKLOOF.

Month end when reviewing my bank debits for Nov/Dec 2018 i came across a double debit to the value of+/- R1400,00, after doing the necessary due dilligence i found that my 2year contract at Planet fitness Plattekloof had ended on 22 October 2018 , when calling in a staff member explained its common practice that an account gets placed on a automatic "AUTO RENEWAL" meaning until such time that an existing member gives 30day`s notice on a contract that has run its full term- in writing , the account will run indefinetly and automatically debit monthly!

Reading the Consumer protection act ,this practice is ******* and ********* for the past 6 years !

Please rectify and return all my funds owing !
