Planet Fitness Auto Renewal Nightmare

Planet fitness I do not know if this is a marketing strategy or what but Iam really tired of these games.

I requested that my gym membership be cancelled instead auto renewal has been running ever since 2015 i think.

I was handed over and told the "lawyers to send a cancellation" nothing has been done. Now in 2018 I was called again on the 26th Jan 2018. I requested a cancellation via a company called ********** sent the email below **********

Ever since that day it went quiet no one bothered to call me, including planet fitness. Now am sitting with a huge balance that I refuse to pay because someone did not send the request and I feel this is someone trying to squeeze money out of me.

Planet fitness should have contacted me rather than keeping quiet for all these years??? Now who must pay 4 years ago. I rather continue the membership and pay a certain amount rather just pay R6000. I believe there is a way we can come to an agreement.

I will see this again HELLO PLANET FITNESS either i continue the membership or I request a cancellation based on the email i sent earlier before. Let us come to a reasonable conclusion.
