Planet fitness are sharks!

Due to lack of finance due to the impact of Covid-19 i phoned planet fitness to "freeze" my account as the sales representative said that i can do that at any given time. So since financially i can not currently pay the fee and since the gym does get closed during lockdown and since they take debit orders off as they feel fit i phoned to freeze my account. GUESS WHAT? you can not freeze your account...heck you can't even cancel your membership. If you cancel you are R1800 out of pocket because you need to pay to cancel. ABSOLUTE SHARKS!! I will be contacting my bank tomorrow to cancel any debit order from planet fitness. Not the road to fitness i had planned at all.
