PLANET FITNESS ARE LYING, ********* ****MERS!!

I just want to say that i have been in absolute horror dealing with the *********, *********** planet fitness after I was **** to and ******* to get me into a membership contract with the. End of August I walked into Planet Fitness Olympus to inquire about their membership packages. I spoke to a young man Joshua who I told that I need a short plan as my goal is to gain 5kgs by lifting and taking shakes. I told him the membership is pricey and i do not think worth it as I only need a short term plan. He then said to me he is calling his manager Bruce and he can offer me something. Sales Manager Bruce offered me a 24 month contract because the premium would be cheaper than the 12 month contract. (As i stated that i CANNOT AFFORD much for this membership) then the second offer was to waiver my joining fees so that I can join immediately and third and cherry on top was that i would be able to cancel my membership in TWO MONTHS and serve a FOUR MONTHS NOTICE which then I will be free from the contract. Now since then I have been trying to cancel this contract and to my shock I get told that that protocol does not exist anymore and i would have to pay a cancellation fee of R3000. Since then more members at the club have been saying they will sort it out as they acknowledge the fault on their part and even have my cancellation wavered. I have been sent from pillar to post and all I get is that "I will call you back" and no call backs. I have just gotten off the phone with a very rude Dineo who told me that everything that I was told to get me into this contract is null and void and Planet Fitness staff will continue to be unhelpful and sending me from pillar to post and promising me call backs but what remains is that I am liable for the contract. This same contract that I was ambushed into. I was not even given the time to read the contract because it was so easy to get me into Bruce said all I have to do is get into it immediately and cancel later. Planet Fitness literally ambushed and used ********* practices and lies to get me into a contract and they continue to be unhelpful and lie to keep me into it!!!!
