Planet fitness a ****

Am not a member of this company and am I feel victimized with their un professional behavior for them to demand cash from me. While using planetfitness gym located in claremont, the gym management sent me a letter that they will be closing the facility and that by January of 2019, it will be the final month of their operation. I used the letter to go to my bank to have the close the account. As a normal user, I couldn't much since it is their gym and they could do whatever they want. On the other hand, it was a shame, that they didn't value us the member without the alternative and left everyone to fend for themselves. To my surprise, it is now 3 weeks, I keep receiving smses and calls asking R2446 using a legal firm. Despite giving the legal firm a letter I receive from planet fitness that my terms of use were to expire in January of 2019, their legal firms has continue and sending me threatening emails because they want cash. What an appalling behaviour from planet fitness. Interesting they closed the gym and another company took over. It is so appalling the rights and privacy of people who don't have a legal contract with planetfitness is violated. Who told them they have a right to pass my details to another company?, especially when they chose to close their business three years ago without receiving resentment or insult. How about us who left with shame after using the gym since 2011?. Passing my details without my consent is a big concern for me. Especially when am not a member and I don't want to hear planetfitness brand anymore. Receiving emails and getting contacted by the so called legal firm is not ethical and not professional and it is not how businesses do. We understand the pandemic is causing a lot of pain to many businesses and many have closed down, but it gives no right start harassing innocent people who don't have legal ties with planet fitness demanding money. It is for this reason that I write this so that they know that they are the ones who wronged many of us and instead of apologising they simply go on demanding cash as bullies.
