Planet Fitness

This is now the second time in two weeks that Planet Fitness have deliberately **** to the public. A day or two before the lockdown they announced that they would not be charging any membership fees for the period. That did not happen. Two days after the lockdown my account was debited for my membership fees. I contacted them by email only to get the response: "Sorry unable to attend to your query during the lockdown period" The first point is that they have *******ly taken thousands, if not millions of Rands and are now drawing interest on that money. This is a highly questionable and ********* business practise. Then today I saw a comment on their interactive website which said: "If your debit order took place on the 25th or 28th of March then this is for March membership fees. THIS IS UTTER NONSENSE AND A DELIBERATE LIE. Never once has this organisation worked in arrear payments. It is always pay up front and in advance. NOBODY EVER HAS BEEN ABLE TO GO TO PF AND DO WORKOUTS FOR A MONTH THEN PAY THEM AFTERWARDS. This corporate theft must please be made public
