Planet Disappointment

This has to be the most unsanitary gym I have ever been to. The staff at Planet Fitness Wanderers in Johannesburg are so unhelpful. The hours are still Covid hours even though our contracts state that the gym would be open until 10pm. The air conditioner does not work. It has not been working for 2 years. Whenever we ask the staff about it they evade the question. It is almost summer, the gym is hot and there is no ventilation. It feels like you are working out in a sauna. Last week, a fellow gymer was badly injured. None of the staff were trained in first aid. They didn’t even have ice to save his finger. They took 30 minutes just to find a pair of gloves. They let him walk down the stairs while he was bleeding and losing a lot of blood. They also took away the big sanitizer as soon as you enter the gym and I have never seen them sanitize any of the equipment. It’s easier to get a divorce than to get out of this contract.
