PF threatening me with attorneys because they stole my money

This is an update about a review I posted a few months ago: Long story short, I ended my membership with Planet Fitness after my 12 month contract ended. Planet Fitness then continued to deduct my account with strange amounts (I paid R399 p/m. Then suddenly they would deduct R439.94 etc.) and then escalated to the point where they would deduct me twice a month with a total of approximately R1k+ I closed the account because Standard Bank couldn't stop the debit order because the reference number and amount changed every time. They have now handed my information over to Landau Attorneys, but I have proof of me trying to phone, and them settling my email query to cancel my membership. I will also be getting the bank statements proving I paid the 12 months, and that they deducted my account afterwards, and I will be going to the consumer ombudsman. I'm tired of this BS.

If you want to join Planet Fitness, DONT. You will have never ending issues with them
