Pathetic customer service

Last year i signed up at Planet Fitness westwood in Durban after being made to believe i was getting one heck of a deal by the consultant Jaden, he "hard sold" me into the contract which at the time i knew not what i was getting myself into, this was a "12 month contract" or atleast thats what i asked for...after only a few months into the contract i was DOUBLE DEBITED for a "service fee" which i was not advised about in the beginning and only after enquiring about it was told its meant to be for the servicing and upkeep of the machinery,which we see none of.... thereafter i froze my membership as i was going to be out of the country, only to be told that i was in a 24 month contract and that my contract would be extended by the amount of months i freez it for. I did not have the time to argue at that point as i urgently needed to freez the account, which i did and continued my life.... upon my arrival bsck in SA now i called their call center and spoke to an absolute smitch of a woman named Mbali who has no damn respect nor customer service knowledge what so ever, after a grueling 15 minute conversation with her trying to get her to understand that i was ******** into a contract that i did not ask for i was spoken to in "skript" format being told the same things over and over until i asked for her superior, who to my surprise wss not even present at the office, upon asking for the 2IC i was rudely spoken over and told "not at the moment" more than once... a clear representation of misconduct and pathetic telephone etiquette by the call center agent, anyhow this is the reason i have made this post as i have come to the conclusion that Planet Fitness clear gives a **** show about their clients and has no regard for our rights nor takes responsibility for their employees actions, their policies are bull**** and they are utter ************s at work whom i will be taking to the ombudsman as well as to court for every cent spent at their pathetic facility and thereafter will be joining Virgin Active
