Over a month to resolve

I was a dependant on a medical Aid and upgraded to a new medical aid as primary member.

As a dependant I was getting 50% discount for gym fees, when I changed and joined as a main member I apparently qualified for 15 % discount. None of the systems updated and my gym membership did not update automatically. And now I am paying 899 for gym fees with planet fitness. It's been a month of calls to planet fitness and discovery and nothing has been resolved. Planet fitness says that they are waiting for the instrument notifications to initiate the discount even after I offered to forward the letter of confirmation I received from discovery. And discovery promised they would automatically send through the notice to planet fitness. Nothing has happened. There is discord between the two systems and it feels like no one knows their own processes . I'm always getting the run around. I'm on the verge of canceling everything because it should not be so difficult. And when I asked about cancelation they said it would take two months to cancel and that would mean I will still be paying the high gym fees. When I signed up at the gym all I did was give my discovery number and the fee was calculated within minutes. So why can't I just do that since updating my discovery medical Aid. .this should not take over a month. I got onto my own medical aid specifically so I can get the 75% discount. Nothing has been resolved and I keep getting promised refunds but no action has been take to resolve the issue. There's no process in place for something as simple as someone changing their medical Aid? Wow it's dissapointing.
