Outstanding Account

HelloPeter<br> I joined Planet Fitness in 2008 and they failed to deduct from my account.They only dealt with this in 2010 and I took responsibility and paid.After 5years they contact me to inform me that since it was a 48mnth contract, which I wasn't aware of, I now owe R12737.75!I'm fighting that as a company,how did PF let this account escalate to such an amount without any contact?My notion was that the account is closed!I was still using the same bank and if this debit wasn't going through,why didn't they call me atleast within 3months?I was still working for the same company.<br> How can a company leave an outstanding account for 5years when they can resolve it in 3 months?<br> Please,is there a way you can help with this?<br> I don't even earn this much!
