Outrages Cancellation fee for a membership that was not used.

I am utterly upset with Planet fitness's cancellation policy is just crocking people, I signed my contract last month at the roodepoort branch and to make it even more upsetting is that the clauses surrounding the fees of cancellations are explained as much as they push that tablet for you to sign, I mentioned to the consultant that I might be moving due to work, But now that am confirmed for a move I called in to cancel my gym membership of I have never even used nor stepped into the gym. I haven't even pad my membership fee but now am forced to R2500 to cancel the contract.

This is crazy.
