Old Broken Equipment

Broken old equipment at the Glenanda branch 🤦🏿♀️🤦🏿♀️ This morning I almost fell off the treadmill for the second time this week. The first 5 treadmills are dangerous. I’ve been reporting these since May. Monday I was doing speed intervals on their first machine, the machine got stuck at the speed of 10.6, I had to jump off. This has happened while using the 3rd machine. This morning I was running at a speed of 8.7 and the machine just went off. On the 5 of July I sent an email to the customer service team because the previous day when I got to the gym, 5 of the same treadmills were not working. The manager has been saying that 4 new treadmills will be delivered, to this date that has not happened. The walker by the wall makes so much noise

I left my old gym because they had no backup for load shedding and that meant we couldn’t use treadmills. When I joined Planet fitness I was assured they have no issues with backup but they left the most important detail, that most of the equipment in the centre is very old and is forever broken. In addition in the ladies, we’ve had no scale for over a month now but they are not bothered. I enjoy running. I couldn’t for over a year due to an injury and had to do an operation which I’m still recovering from.
