Non-payment of salary

My son accepted a position at the new Westville Planet Fitness. He started and was horrified that there were no tools to be used to set up the equipment, he was expected to use his vehicle to pick up and hire daily labourers or people from the airport. He was expected to work from 7 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. After injuring himself on duty by cutting himself because he only had a blade from a Stanley knife to use and also after standing on a nail that went through his foot, he resigned. To date, despite numerous messages and e-mails having been sent to Miriam and Mr Breedt, he has not been paid for the time he worked. This is despicable and we will be instituting action via the Small Claims Court. I suggest you think twice before accepting a job with Planet Fitness if this is how they treat their staff.
