No own there promises

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the service and information I received from your Bedfordview branch.

I recently contacted the Bedfordview branch with the intention of joining Planet Fitness. During my discussion with your sales representative, Donavan, I clearly advised that I am both a Bonitas and Sanlam Reality member. Donavan assured me that this would not be an issue and that I would still qualify for the following promotional offer:

Two months free membership No activation or tag fee A buddy tag for one month

Based on this information, I was prepared to proceed with the membership.

However, upon contacting the Greenstone branch to finalize my joining, I was informed that I do not qualify for the offer that was previously promised to me. This contradiction is extremely concerning and has left me feeling misled and disappointed.

I made my decision to join based on the information provided by your representative. It is unacceptable to be given assurances that are later not honored, as this reflects poorly on your service standards and creates a lack of trust.

I kindly request that this matter be urgently investigated and that you provide clarity on whether the offer presented by Donavan will be honored. I would appreciate a prompt resolution, as this has negatively impacted my experience and decision to join Planet Fitness.
