Nightmare that never ends!

<p>I cannot begin to explain how absolutely disgusted I am with Planet Fitness! If there is one thing I regret, it is stepping foot inside their doors! So I made the mistake of getting myself a planet fitness contract around the end of 2012, it was really convenient, the gym was located in the same mall that I worked, so I could just pop in at any time during my day, which was great! But of course all good things come to a end, my 12 month contract ended in September 2013, or so I thought! The debit orders just kept going and going and going, with Planet Fitness even having their go at TRIPLE DEBITING my account in December 2013! Being thoroughly annoyed after they had their share of my Christmas savings I went to the branch to enquire as to why exactly they are still debiting me for a contract that ended 3 months ago? They told me I should send a email to the headoffice and it will be attended to... Let's say about 40 emails later in January 2014 I finally get a response to say that the contract has been cancelled. But surprise surprise there goes the debit orders again! After months of verbally harrasing their head office staff and probably jamming their servers with emails I get a confirmation in June 2014 that everything is sorted and the account is closed, but they refuse to refund me the debit orders. I decided to rather just let it go so I can be rid of this horrible company. But as can be expected more debit orders at the end of June. Starting to see the pattern here? Phone calls, angry emails all over again, up to the point where I closed my bank account! After that everything went quiet thank goodness, until a collection company starts phoning me August 2014, I absolutely flipped, and up until today I feel sorry for that consultant. But once again it goes quiet. It is December 2016, and a week ago I get a email from a collection company regarding this Planet Fitness account, and today a call with them telling me I am liable for the fees from September 2013 until June 2014 - which by the way the debit orders went off successfully! And apparently as I have just been told, there is no such thing as a 12 or 24 month contract with Planet Fitness, unless you go through the agony of cancelling it, it will just keep running and running !!!! I am so fed up with Planet Fitness! How they are still in business I don't know. But let me tell you something, whatever that outstanding amount is according to your records, you can stand on your head and sing hallelujah because you will not get a cent from me! I will be doing some research today on where I can report this to and we can take this to the highest level possible!!! </p>
