Never use planet fitness gym

I joined the gym in december 2017 and everything was fine until after a couple months when planet fitness decided to use my bank account as their own ***gy bank and help themselves to double installments. I had to carry the cost of debit order reversals which the assholes at the gym didnt compensate me for (R41 perdebit order x3 months). Eventually the manager of planet fitness Newcastle Neil(very cool guy btw) sorted this whole debit order story out. I didnt reactivate my debit order with my bank and for that reason the gym was charging me for every debit order that didnt go through. At the beginning of feb 2019 i went to the gym and physically made a payment of R301, which by the way is what the useless clerk told me is the outstanding amount. I laid that and everything was fine until i got an sms stating that i am in arrears, i called the call centre and they told me that im short by R47 and i had made arrangements with them for that amount to be debited from my account at the end of the month. I went to the gym today 18/02/2019 only to be told by the other useless lady that my account is in arrears and they cannot allow me in, i told them that i made arrangements with the call center to pay the amount at the end of the month. She said she needs the reference number which i was not given by the lady at the call center. I was embarrassed because i was rejected entry because the call center and the actual gym do not communicate with each other and therefore was not put on my profile that an arrangement was made. I looked like a total asshole because of this gym.

Its fine because at the end of feb i will call them for a settlement and pay up my contract and then have it canceled. Oh and dont think you guys are only losing 1 person, you guys are going to lose 35 members which are my friends and family. They rdfuse to support a **** company like planet fitness after all this **** that has been going on. We will move to Virgin Gold gym where i was a member for years until i made the ****** mistake of changing over to planet fitness.

Mark my words you will lose so many members that your Newcastle branch will close down.

Absolutely disgusted with this gym and the services from this gym.
