Never use planet fitness. Ever.

When we signed up for the gym we knew that while we had no immediate plans to move that we might move in the future so we asked about what would happen. We were told that if we were more than 5km from a gym we could cancel our membership no penalty. Well that was a lie. They made us pay out almost R4000. And in the meantime doubled our monthly payments to the "low usage rate" for a service we couldn't use because as pointed out above they ****. When we contacted various people in the branch about the problem we were basically told ***** you it's not in the contract.
