Negligence Health and Safety

I had an accident at Planet Fitness Rosebank a few weeks ago. I slipped stepping over a 20 cm step when exiting the steam room (no safety mat, no grip handle). As I was still opening the door my only grip must have been the glass(!!!) door, which detached from the hinges and crashed in 1000 pieces or so on me and next to me. I suffered moderate injuries eg. skin wounds which have not fully healed (and will leave scars) and a painful ankle wound requiring stitches. I asked Planet Fitness to be compensated for my injuries and they DENY ALL RESPONSIBILITY and are now threatening me. (in my opinion). They refuse further communication and tell me silly stuff like 'I could sue the door manufacture or complain with their insurer'. They are still operating steam rooms and saunas with the same dangerous doors at Rosebank and I assume nationwide. In my opinion, NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF HEALTH AND SAFETY REGULATIONS and DENIAL OF MY RIGHT TO COMPENSATION.
