Money making scheme

Extremely unhappy with planet fitness.

I took out a 12 month contract with them. After those 12 months I stopped going to the gym as I believed my contract to be finished.

I have no realized that I have still been paying them for over a year now as they switch you over to a month to month contract of you do not cancel your contract.

I fully understand that this was probably stated on the contract, however this was not explained to me by the consultant who opened the contract for me.

They do this because they know that people don't think to phone and cancel their contract and so they just pocket the money from you.
