Money hungry ****

Joined the gym on the 11th. Decided against it and requested to cancel the membership on the 18th and was charged a 1560 cancellation fee because my cancellation request fell outside the cool off period. I hadn’t even used their facilities and I got charged a cancellation fee.

I cancelled less than 20 working days from the day I join, having never used their facilities and I got charged 1560.

They better enjoy that 1.5

Like I said enjoy the 1.5. I already paid it. But be sure that never will I ever make use of your services and I will make it one of my life’s mission to ensure that as many people as I can influence do the same. A 5 working days cool of period is insane and I missed it by a single day. Petty much. Well I’ll show you petty.

Stop having your people call me about nonsense.

I cancelled the membership back in February and paid the early cancellation fee.

As a result no debit went off from my account in March. In April y’all debited my account. I called and told the person I spoke to that I cancelled it in February and there should not have been a debit taken from my account. He said he would sort it out.

In may yall tried to take 1865 from my account. I rightfully reversed it and blocked any further debit from my account, as once more you were acting of your own accord and violating the cancellation agreement that I submitted to you in February.

I was called yesterday by a lady who told me that my membership was reactivated in April.

I never requested that the membership be reactivated after I cancelled it in February. So who ever reactivated it did that *****ulently and without my consent.

I have never used your facilities from the time I opened the membership in January till to date. Not forgetting that I cancelled it less than 30 days from the day I joined.

I have not been on the premises of that gym since January. So whoever reactivated the membership in April can pay whatever cancellation fee that came from that unauthorised transaction.

See attached the proof of payment I sent for the cancellation payment fee required in February.

I spoke very calmly with the lady that called me on the 15th and explained everything that I have just written down for you now. She seemingly understood and said she would investigate. Only for me to be called by a brainless fool who did not care to read his screen to see all that has transpired of this profile as the lady from the day before had done.

I have now taken the time to write everything that has happened so that you can have this sorted out, because at the end of the day, I did what y’all request of me to have the membership cancelled back in February.

I did not reactivate or give consent to reactivate this membership . Whoever did, did it *****ulently and without my consent.

The last time I was at that gym was in January when I opened the membership. I cancelled it via email les than 30 day after taking it and have never been there since.

Now fix this and stop bothering me about the action of your *****ulent employees.

The next person to call me better be calling to tell me that they have sorted this or I will be taking you to the ombudsman.

You are a bunch of idiots. Had you taken the time to read the countless email and conversation Ive had with your agents, you’d know that I already told you that I cancelled in February. In April it was reinstated without my consent or knowledge, the membership was reinstated in April. I called and told the agent that I never gave consent to reinstate. He said he would escalate and have it sorted and now you are wanting a second cancellation fee from for something I did not as to be reinstated, not going to happen. But not to worry maybe the ombudsman will help y’all stop using one brain cell amongst the whole lot of you to get think.
