MISLEADING CONTRACTS AND DOUBLE DEBITS

When l joined planet fitness l discussed the contract with the consultant and we went through every step only to find out that all the explanations were misleading. Basically l was told that for the first six month l will be paying R199 and the next 18 months r349 which l agreed to, But l was shocked to see that l was double debited the first month l joined the gym , when l reversed the second debit order l was blocked from the gym until l paid the amount which till this day l dont know what it was for. This month l got shocked that as opposed to being debited R199 since its my 6th month l was debited r349 and worse double debited again . i asked the consultants on duty they said the second debit was for mantainance and its on the contract which l wasn't aware of. I am really frustrated in the way planet fitness has no regard for truth and honesty from the word go with their clients and this leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.Those who want to join this gym must think carefully and interogate the so called contract to avoid surprises but to my knowledge l wouldnt recommend them.
