I entered into the student membership agreement, accepting that it includes a free national upgrade as all adverti*****ts clearly stated it as such. The exact reason why I entered a membership with planet. To my shock to find out when I tried to gym elsewhere that I indeed do not have national membership and that the so called “student” membership with national upgrade is R499. Absolutely distasteful and misleading if you ask me. Why boast and advertise free national upgrades for the student membership when it is indeed not free and will cost you R499 pm.
