Misinformed Fees - Relocation

When I joined Tableview Planet Fitness I explained that in the next couple of months I would be moving residence but I would like to just transfer to another branch. It was explained that it would not be an issue. Today I went to ask for the transfer and I was informed that my fees would more than double!! This was not mentioned to me when I joined Planet Fitness and I made it clear that I would be needing to transfer.

I am wanting to continue supporting Planet Fitness and not cancel but not being informed about the large price change and actually being misinformed has led me to cancelling my membership.
