MIDLANDS MALL PLANET FITNESS BAD SERVICE

I am very disappointed in the appalling behavior of your front desk staff. On Thursday the 16th of May My wife and I went to Planet Fitness Midlands mall for our usual morning session. The only difference is that on that day I had a splitting headache but had to go in support of my wife. We clocked in as usual. Her with the tag and myself with the Guest QR code and went on our way to do our morning routine. I realized that the headache was getting quite bad and decided to go buy Grandpa at Checkers which was a 2min walk away from the gym. When I returned to be let inside the lady at the front desk rudely refuse to let me pass, saying it’s against the rules and I should go back home since I am merely a guest. The other lady who claimed to be the manager intervened and supported her colleague also claiming that I have no right to come back to the gym I must go back home because they have no way of letting me in. I told them I went to buy something for my headache to which they showed no sympathy. I remembered that that the main member could invite two guests then I resorted to calling my wife who was in the middle of her session to come and try to let me in. The manager was still sticking to her guns that would not let me in. My wife finally came to my rescue and she tagged me in. I was very disappointed with the way the situation was handled and regretted ever taking the contract as the staff treated us like dogs on that day. We ended up cutting our session short because we could not concentrate after that traumatic encounter with the rude staff. So we have decided to cancel the contract and find another place to work out. But please talk to your staff so such an incident does not occur in the future as it could be detrimental to your reputation. It is clear that more training is needed when it comes to dealing with clients.
