Honestly so horrible. So many problems and miscommunications with my contract. I’ve signed with Planet Fitness from August 2023 for 6 months but they refuse to acknowledge the time period. I was a student at Vega and was only going to be in Cape Town for the rest of the year (Aug-Dec) and I was well aware of this. Told them I couldn’t sign a 12 month contract since it would be a waste and they understood me but rather spoke to the manager and granted me the 6 month contract due to my situation. It’s been well over 6 months and they’re still charging me every month. I’m unemployed. I’m a student. I can’t keep paying due to no money. I’ve called the call center multiple times but they keep saying it’s a 12 month contract which isn’t true. I’ve called the gym directly multiple times and even WhatsApped the manager and still nothing. This has been going on since DECEMBER and it’s now MAY 2024. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS
