Limited membership

I called the club on Friday the 29th October 2021 at 9:28 am to discuss the membership options available, based on the options discussed telephonically with the staff member she advised I can join the club on a limited membership at R399 and have dependant on it, I agreed and scheduled an appointment with her for later the afternoon at 15:30. When we were about to sign up the she advise we cannot have a dependant on the limited membership after she advised telephonically that I could, nevertheless, I accepted the information at the time and asked what our alternatives were. When I left the Midrand club I called 2 other Planet fitness clubs at 16:52 they advised I can have a dependant on the limited membership at this point I was frustrated because my time was wasted and I was **** to. The information by Planet fitness in Midrand is inconsistent and misleading I felt I was being strong-armed to sign up for a membership I did not need. I have emailed the complaints departments with no response to date
