I joined Planet Fitness at the end of 2014 (August if I am not mistaken) on some Winter special where I could pay a once off payment for a year.<br> <br> Last year, after this contract expired - no phone call, confirmation, NOTHING, R599 was debited from my account. After 2 months of these debit orders (and not going to gym) I called to cancel my contract. But wait, there's more.... They expect me to pay a cancellation fee! Absolutely livid, I stopped the debit order for November, only in December to have R1 140 PLUS R599 taken from my account. That's R1 739! FOR WHAT?<br> <br> Needless to say, I reversed the R1 140 debit order - not the full amount.<br> <br> I would like to say though I want NOTHING to do with Planet fitness! Their sales teams are uninformed and clueless, their staff are unhelpful, and they are RIDICULOUSLY expensive. So why on earth would I want to continue any \contract"? Or PAY to cancel my \""contract\""? <br> <br> At the end of the day though"
