I’ve grown increasingly dissatisfied with recent changes at Planet Fitness

I’ve grown increasingly dissatisfied with recent changes at Planet Fitness. The removal of yoga classes in favor of paid reformer Pilates is disappointing and feels exclusionary. Remaining classes are scheduled during standard work hours, making them inaccessible to many. The once-welcoming, community-focused atmosphere has shifted to a cold, corporate vibe, and management seems indifferent to member concerns. Feedback is often ignored, and staff appear disheartened, with high instructor turnover suggesting deeper internal issues. Poor planning—like scheduling aquafit alongside swim school in limited pool space—creates chaos and frustration. These patterns reflect a decline in service and a disregard for both members and staff. Many friends have already left for other gyms or home setups. I’m now reconsidering my membership, seeking a facility that values community, quality, and respect.
