Impossible to cancel

i have been trying to cancel my planet fitness membership for more then 4 months now which i find extremely disturbing as the process to join is fluent an quick, i called the call centre in December to cancel and was advised i had to pay a cancellation fee i agreed and was told that i will receive an sms with the bank details to which payment must be made to, this never happened and then again call early January and was told exactly the same thing to which the result was the same, I started reversing my payments as all the while premiums continued to be deducted from my account which i had to reverse every time, i received an sms in February to please sort out my membership which i did i first spoke to one of the consultants at the branch i keep my membership (Centurion Mega Club)i was told the amount due and bank details will again be sent to me this once again did not happen, I again called 26 February where i again tried to cancel i was advised that the server was down for 3 weeks and no emails could be sent, upon confirming the amount due it did not correspond with what i was initially told and was advised the call was to be listened to in order to confirm i still wait for.
