Impossible to believe this company!!!

I signed up for a one year contract. I was very specific with the person I dealt with that I only wanted a one year contract, she assured me that it was only for one year. After being told by various people about how they had been ********** by planet fitness and had their accounts debited without authorization I walked into planet fitness and spoke to a lady at the front desk. She advised that there was no one in the branch I could talk to regarding my account and that I should phone the call centre to confirm my account would be cancelled. After the call centre advised that they couldn't help and that I should speak to my branch, I gave up in the hope that the person who signed me up was in fact being honest. <br> <br> I have just received a phone call from some arrogant women demanding that I pay R4,800. She was not interested in helping me at all, I could barely hear or understand a word she was saying. <br> <br> To date, I have not received any communication from anyone within planet fitness asking if I would like to cancel OR renew my contract. To date, I have not received any invoicing for any amount CLAIMED to be owed. This is in direct contradiction with the CPA and I will not be ******!!
