Ill treating Pensioners at Planet Fitness Panarama

<p>t about 10.30am on Saturday 27th August 2016 myself and wife both members at your Planet Fitness, Panorama branch was disgustingly embarrassed in front of about 10 plus members all waiting to enter your Gym whilst this ********* Saga was going on at the front desk by your supposedly senior manager who never even greeted and welcomed us, like was done in the past.</p> <p> </p> <p>When we approached the front desk, I gave Lisa (senior manager) my disc and a register was chucked in front of me to fill in. I ask her politely to let my wife go through in the interim, but was in an abrupt way refused, “you’ll have to fill in the register first!” “What is this?” I enquired, “you have my disk and it shows that it’s for me and my wife, why can’t she go through while I fill in the register!” I was ignored and was shown where I must fill in the register. This infuriated me especially when I was told to fill in my wife’s I.D. number which by now she had to shout to me because it was becoming noisy now, for people with their impatient moaning sounds in the queue and my wife was waiting to go through the turnstile which was about 1,5 meters from me. Then there was the off period that was so loudly explained to me in front of everybody, but because of the impatientness growing from the 10+ queuing she allowed us to go through.</p> <p> </p> <p>I joined Planet Fitness Panorama because not only was I impressed with your gym but also the friendly staff, everybody greeted us as they passed us. Your senior staff took a few minutes extra to ask “how you doing and do you have any problems?”. This made us look forward to revisiting your gym to destress, relax, feel fresh and rejuvenated.</p> <p> </p> <p>I feel that a great wrong was done to us and I’m appealing to you to rectify immediately.</p> <p>1) Get the friendliness and helpfulness back on the floors of your gym.</p> <p>2) The Manager on duty when the incident occurred, Lisa, should be more professional and sympathetic towards members and take them away from other members and then explain to them. Because along the g****vine other members told me sympathetically that I am not the only one she was absolutely rude to. There were others and that she even sent one member back because of owing R20.</p> <p>3) There is awkwardness in the gym, it appears people are afraid to talk. What happened to the vibrancy and the relaxing atmosphere we once knew?
