How safe is our personal information at Planet Fitness
Planet fitness does not protect clients information. Consultants use their personal phones to enter contractual information onto the planet fitness system thai includes banking details. Consultants can the download this information onto their personal phones. How safe is our personal information with Planet fitness. Can planet fitness not afford to actually buy tablets or computers for their staff to input client data. this is unacceptable and contravenes the Popi Act

07 Feb 2025, 08:44Good Day Planet Fitness. Since your response I contacted the Branch Sales manager, who advised me that staff indeed use their personal phones to process contracts via a URL. He said he would contact your head office to clarify what you advised me of on Hello Peter. I again spoke to him this morning and he said he hasn’t received a response from the regional manager. So can you please advise what the truth is. Because it seems that you are deceiving your clients by saying that you follow the rules of the POPI Act when staff indeed use their personal phone for contacts and have acces to our personal information. But when we call in the voice prompt advises us that you adhere to the POPI act.
