Hidden fees

<p>I recently moved from Fourways to Randpark Ridge and therefore had to change clubs. I had to pay a fee of R180.00 to change my club membership.</p> <p>After a bad experience on the road one evening, I realised that it is unsafe for me to drive that road, at 9pm, to the gym and it is about 10km from my home. On trying to cancel my membership, I was informed that I have to pay a cancellation fee of R988.20.</p> <p>First, to pay R180.00 just to change clubs is ridiculous. Then to pay the balance of my contract as penalty because I am cancelling my contract is *****ing. </p> <p>I am in agreement to pay a cancellation fee but why the BALANCE of my contract? </p> <p>Everybody want's to go to the gym to stay healthy but really the monthly fees are already high and now this.</p> <p> </p>
