Have to pay double to get in

My wife and I signed a contract with Planet Fitness MyGym at Centurion Mall. we had to pay the full amount on the spot for both of us. we were given the contract and told that all that we had to do was take the contract to the gym and we would receive our tags. this was on the 24th of November 2018. with no joining fee as we are Momentum employees. then on the 28th the gym finally opened arrived on the 4th only to be told that we stil had to pay for the tags and joiner fee, after explaining that we have already paid they started making excuses that we have to pay and produce our ID's I have requested that we cancel the contract this is 2 weeks later and we still have not received any feed back
