Harassment by Trainee staff at Planet fitness Westwood Mall

Two weeks ago, my sister was harassed by a trainee Sam in the middle of a class because she wanted my sister to remove her bag from the studio whilst she had a bar with weights in hand, she stood about 10cm from my sisters face and was relentless, every time my sister moved this trainee would move closer to her and this went on and on, she was close my sister could smell her breath.

This happened in the middle of a class and was not only harassment but disruption in the class. The unfair part was so many members had their bags in hand and this trainee came for my sister only.

I forwarded an official complaint to Gavin the regional manager, he then phoned me and promised me feedback the same Friday and I did not receive any, I need to know if disciplinary action was taken against their staff for blatant harassment.

I emailed him today and was rep**** to rudely that it is an HR issue, and no further comment will be made about this incident, which basically means, to hell with the member that was harassed by our staff we don't need to discipline our staff. The same trainee and the reception manager stand at reception and dance like they are at a club, so unprofessional and cheap behaviour especially at front desk.

At Planet Fitness Westwood mall, you get victimised if you complain about an aircon in the spin class that has not been operational for over a year, you get empty promises over the phone and attitude on emails and harassed by staff.

I don't recommend joining this gym at all.

Virgin active in definitely the better choice.

Management don't give a damn and if you complain about the lack of service you are paying for, you are put onto a "hit list"".
