Handed over to lawyers for a cancelled contract

<p>My Planet Fitness Platinum Sandton membership expired at the end of February, I contacted the call centre and sent an email to their client services mailbox to request it be cancelled once the contract was up. They did not do this and kept trying to deduct the gym fee from my account. I waited a minimum of 10 to 15 minutes to speak to a call centre agent, often giving up, and none of my emails were answered!!! And now I find out I have been handed over to lawyers for money I do not owe them, and which they were not due!!! If they bothered with any form of customer service this issue would have been solved months ago. Pathetic!! Do not become a member if you can avoid it.</p>
