Gym membership termination request not processed!

I have been a member of Planet fitness for over 2 years now. I requested to terminate my membership with the gym on the 2nd of May 2019. A confirmation mail was sent, of which I asked for a formal letter acknowledging and confirming my termination; to date I have not received anything. In addition, the gym company processed a debit order on the 30th of May, after which I had subsequently cancelled my membership. Horrible experience! How does an organisation operate in this ********* manner!!!!!!!!!!!
